Wood Destroying Organisms

A Wood Destroying Organisms inspection consists of a complete inspection of your home or business for subterranean termites, dry wood termites, wood-boring beetles and wood-decaying fungi. Only Florida State Certified WDO inspectors specially trained are allowed to perform the inspection. The scope of the inspection normally includes any structure on the property including fences and garages.

WDO Inspections

WDO inspections are required by the State if you are refinancing your home or if you are purchasing a new home. The inspection must be performed 30 days prior to closing. Please allow ample time in the event a wood-destroying organism is found and treatment is necessary. ABC Pest Control Inc. will perform a complete inspection of your home to detect the following conditions. Wood rot decay, Ambrosia beetles, Sap Stain fungus, Lyctid, Bostrichid, Anobiid, and Cerambycid beetles. Only a highly trained WDO inspector is qualified to identify these pests.

After the inspection ABC Pest Control Inc. will deliver to you our results on the State Inspection Form with diagrams of the property, photos if necessary, and any additional documentation to the homeowner.

Please note that in the event ABC Pest Control Inc. finds evidence of an infestation ABC Pest Control  will allow the price of your WDO report to be applied towards the price of a termite treatment if the treatment is performed within 30 days of the original inspection.
